  Eagle Rock and the Rila mountain offers walks along scenic routes, including many ski-routes, in groups led by experience guides. Organised trips lead to picturesque spots in the Rila Mountains, such as Seven Rila Lakes, Malyovitsa peak, Moussala peak, etc. Mt. Moussala.

  Borovets is serviced by a well-organized lift system. The cabin cableway to Mt. Yastrebets is the most imposing one -2363 metres above sea level. The difference in altitude is 1046 m and the length of the route is 4827 m. Its capacity adds up to 1200 people per hour.The journey takes 23 min.   The Seven Rila Lakes comprise an extremely sensitive and wondrous spot within the boundaries of Rila National Park. Many of its species are native to the area and are listed in the Red Data Book of Flora and Fauna, which denotes them as endangered or rare.

  Two great events shake Beli Iskar duing the summer. These are the famous Rock in Rila festival and the Holiday of the Rila Zelnik, The visitors of Eagle Rock and Beli Iskar will have the chance to taste the famous "Rilski zelnik" (special kind of pastry), held at the end of June by the local Tourist association. The biggest event of the Festival, very appropriately, is the contest for the tastiest "zelnik".

  The latest event initiated at Beli Iskar is an annual three-day rock festival at the end of August sponsored by the municipality of the town of Samokov.

  The scenery in the Beli Iskar and Eagle Rock are breathtaking and here the visitor can find peace with the sound of the water flowing over the rocks in the many streams and rivers. Bear, wild boar, red deer and several species of eagle are just a few of the animals to be found, while the fauna is a delight both for the amateur and professional.
