| Getting to Eagle Rock from
the airport is not difficult . Just hire a care or take a yellow
cab outside arrivals hall, for the one hour journey to the mountains.

The road from Sofia soon enters a landscape of
tree covered hillsides and lakes. It passes by the huge lake Iskar,
a freshwater inland sea that provides a wide range of summer activities,
from swimming to cannoning and water skiing.
After some 50 km, the road reaches a plateau and
you are confronted by the magnificent sight of the snow Rila mountains,
the highest peak in Bulgaria. The town of Samokov lies at their
base , trough which runs the Beli Iskar river. The road follows
this stony river and soon arrives in Beli Iskar village, over the
hill from which is Borovets.
Sofia is 67kms away, the current resort of Borovets
is 7kms and Samokov is the same distance
Because the complex is well located on main road
Borovets to the stunning Rila National park, this happens to be
an excellent place to visit. With rare plant and animal species,
it attracts many visitors all year round.
The centre of Beli Iskar is only just down the
main road and not far at all. Cafes and some small shops can be
found here and of course in the Super Borovets project, the facilities
will be greatly expanded. They plan to include sports and entertainment
centres, ski lifts and numerous ski runs connecting the village
to the current resort of Borovets. The huge investment about to
go in here means that this village has to be one of the hottest
property markets in Bulgaria.
Sofia is 67kms away, the current resort of Borovets
is 7kms and Samokov is the same distance.
